Antioxidants…

Antioxidants are a special group of micronutrients that protect the body from a highly destructive process called oxidation. In other words, they prevent our bodies from literally ‘rusting’ up.

If you don’t know already, antioxidants are believed to fight free radical activity in our bodies by slowing down aging, preventing cell degeneration and much more.

A mixture of antioxidants is recommended as the ingredients work together (synergistically) to support and enhance each other’s effectiveness.

Wherever possible try and avoid all the things that create free radicals in our bodies such as smoking and polluted environments.


Great sources of anitoxidants are:

Fruits  1. Blueberries 2. Blackberries 3. Strawberries 4. Raspberries 5. Plums 6. Oranges 7. Red grapes 8. Cherries 9. Prunes 10. Raisins.


Vegetables 1. Kale 2. Spinach 3. Brussels sprouts 4. Alfalfa sprouts 5. Broccoli flowers 6. Beetroot 7. Red peppers 8. Onions 9. Corn 10. Red kidney beans.


A mixture of these every day will help to keep your body fighting fit….. Literally!!
