A great treatment for sore, dry, chapped lips….and everything else!!! Trilogy ‘Everything Balm’!
When the seasons change or temperatures are up and down, many people suffer from sore, dry, chapped lips.
Searching for a good lip balm might seem trivial, but so many people are stuck in a vicious cycle of plastering their lips with ‘Vaseline’ or other petroleum jelly brands. This not only contains mineral oil (not recommended in my opinion…stick to plant oils) but is purely a barrier. It does lock in the moisture you currently have and the greasy feeling can temporarily leave lips feeling more comfortable but it will not hydrate the lips (in my opinion). People that use this, often become dependent on having this with them at all times.
I prefer a more natural solution!!!!
There are some great products out there to try. I do like a product that is not just for use on the lips, creating a more versatile product to have in your bathroom. We are constantly being shown new treatments for this and that, so a multi-use product is handy to have.

Trilogy ‘Everything Balm’… is an absolute Star!!!
Recently I had run out of my previous balm and on the day of a big night out my lips were chapped and dry. I was wearing a statement red lip and smooth soft lips are a MUST to pull off this look. I had been meaning to try trilogy’s everything balm for a while, so I purchased some. Within 2 hours and a few applications of this balm, all the dry skin had been removed, and my lips were left feeling soft and nourished.
Trilogy are a natural skincare brand and this product smells lovely. I am extremely fussy on smells, especially on the lip area and I LOVE the smell of this!!! You can smell the citronellol in this product but it’s not overpowering. It just smells like a light very natural product thats clean and fresh.

I have even used this on my face, but as a treatment rather than a moisturiser. I think that it is too balmy for that. But great as a treatment every now and then! Only use a small amount if you use it on the face and buff into the skin. If you suffer with dry skin on the face then you could definitely apply this regularly to dry patches (around the nose for example). It’s good when legs are feeling dry and scaly or use the day before fake tanning on heels, elbows knees etc. It’s also fabulous for conditioning the backs of hands, nails and cuticles.

Probably too big for a handbag but you can buy little tiny clear pots form most chemists or drug stores and decant if you need to carry it with you. I find lips stay nourished for ages so I don’t need to. A lovely product- all round!!!
